Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She works for ESPN and works as an SportsCenter anchor for news. She joined ESPN in 2016. was a part of ESPN. She is the daughter of the reporter for television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been for a long time, starting at the age of nine. This skill helped her to get her first position at Univision, Miami. She could work alongside national producers on shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. The next position she was offered was reporter for sports at The CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. Then, in 2009 the news reporter relocated from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley Texas where she worked for KNVO TV 48 Univision as and Fox2 News. In 2009 she made the move to Rio Grande Valley in Texas and became a reporter for KNVO 48 Univision and Fox2 News. She was also often asked to be an anchor for weather and sports. She was then anchor and reporter for Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. The station then gave her greater responsibilities. She also wrote articles for sports like the NBA, Dallas Cowboys' postseason, NBA ALDS ALCS World Series or Finals FC Dallas. She also produced Univision 23's local sports show Accion Deportiva Extra, on where she was anchor. The show was promoted to be anchor of the sports segment to Despierta America Deportes' morning show. The same role, she worked for Primer Impacto (a network magazine) and Contacto Deportivo (a UniMas Network sports channel). Antonietta's parents hail from Veracruz Mexico. The girl was born on November 22nd on the 22nd of October, 1984 in Mexico City. There is an older sister. She has an older sister. Her parents divorced shortly thereafter and, in 1995, she married a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 due to kidney cancer. When on vacation, Antonietta stayed at the home of her sister in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sister had just landed a new job. Antonietta was the senior of her high school and had a very clear vision of her goals for the future. She went to Mount Union University to determine if they suited her. The result was that she enjoyed the university as well as the fact that it had the program she desired. Following her graduation from high school, she decided to go to the university and major in Media Studies. Her professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was student in the class, established an ongoing friendship with her. Her professor, Mark Bergmann, inspired her with his enthusiasm for journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
